The IMMI GO seat supports two installation methods, seat belt + top tether installation and Latch (American standard ISOFIX interface) + top tether installation.
The commonly used Latch + top tether installation method can be used to install the seat within 1 minute after being familiar with it. It's great for scenarios where you need to switch seats between vehicles, and the light weight of the IMMI GO seat is praised by moms.
The IMMI GO’s seat uses a soft connection Latch (US Version of ISOFIX) design, which is easier to operate than ordinary ISOFIX in most cases. Since you can hold the Latch connector and connect the two sides independently and then tighten it afterwards.
Unlike other ISOFIX car seats, it is not necessary to operate the entire seat at the same time, which is often problematic as the ISOFIX connectors often unintentionally retract during the installation process and is very cumbersome for parents. This is avoided in the IMMI GO Seat’s soft latch (US version of ISOFIX) design.
The IMMI Go seat’s top tether strap utilizes IMMI's specially designed pull-release mechanism, which enables its detachment from the vehicle’s anchor simply by adjusting its angle. This is much easier to operate than the typical push-type mechanism used in other car seats.
The IMMI GO’s buckle uses the latest generation of magnetic locking tongues, which is very convenient for parents. The buckle is automatically secured when the locking tongues are in close proximity to the buckle.
The IMMI GO seat uses high quality leather with Italian stitching. It is easy to wipe clean and not easy for bacteria to grow.
The IMMI Go uses a top tethor strap connector with green color-coded user feedback, both the top and side of the connector provide the correct indication to the user when the top tether strap is secured tight, this is especially important on SUVs with the top tether anchor point at the top instead of the back of the seat.
Similarly, IMMI GO also has a green-colored indicator on the buckle to provide the user with the correct feedback indication when the lock is properly secured.
IMMI Go uses a chest buckle design that complies with the US Safety Standard. The chest buckle helps prevent the five-point seat belt from slipping off.
The IMMI Go's shoulder strap adjusters also ensure easy adjustment for the height of the five-point harness, providing better protection for the child.
IMMI GO’s five-point seat belt can be adjusted separately on both sides of the outer thigh, effectively reduces the problem of loose webbing on the thigh.

CAR SEAT MODE installation methods:
Method 1: ISOFIX/LATCH + Top Tether Strap
Method 2: Vehicle Seatbelt + Top Tether Strap
The IMMI GO's seat back can be detached from the base. The booster mode uses only the base portion of the IMMI GO seat, and is installed similar to the CAR SEAT MODE's "Method 1" but without the need of the top tether strap.
This mode still takes advantage of the security and stability offered by the Latch/ISOFIX attachment compared to most low cost backless booster seats.

When converted to the booster mode, ensure the child is within below limits. In addition, the top of child’s ears should be below the top of the vehicle seat cushion or vehicle headrest.
Your car must have a tether anchor to install the IMMI GO child restraint. In addition, the lower portion of the IMMI GO seat requires attachment either with the lower LATCH (ISOFIX) anchors or the vehicle seat belt. Check out videos section on how to install the IMMI Go using LATCH/ISOFIX. You can install the seat using the seat belt path, but you still need a top tether anchor. Consult your vehicle’s owner’s manual to find out which seat positions you can install the IMMI GO in your car.

No, since airplane seats do not have tether anchors (for 5-point harness mode) or shoulder belts (for booster mode). However, it does fit perfectly into the overhead bin of the plane just like a piece of carry-on luggage.
